Katie Marie James has been planning weddings, anniversary parties, bachelorette parties, bridal showers, baby showers, kids' birthday parties and bridal expos since 2002.
Her keen attention to detail and organized frame of mind, paired with a creative eye and a kind heart make her want to plan your event as if it were her own. Her main goal is to keep the stress off the bride (as well as family and friends,) by being behind the scenes, diverting problems as they arise and before they are even noticed.
Katie completed the Bridal Consulting Career Program with Penn Foster University in 2007 and has receieved her diploma in Wedding Planning. She stays on top of current trends and styles in the wedding industry by routinely participating in seminars, networking events and conferences, including the Association of Bridal Consultants annual conference at The Broadmoor Hotel with special guest speaker, Preston Bailey, wedding planner to the stars. Not only does she participate in dozens of local bridal shows each year, but also produces the bi-annual Wedding Show, in connection with Colorado's Wedding and Event Directory on www.Go2Wed.com , where she is a Featured Vendor.
Katie also recently became a member of NAPW, National Association of Professional Women.
